Privacy Policy
Information we collect
- Account and contact information, including mobile number, email address when used for business or admin access, display name, role, and OTP verification status.
- Tester profile information, including name, city, required age range and gender, invite source, participation status, campaign reliability signals, and saved app display settings.
- Business verification information, including legal name, display name, commercial registration or unified national number, representative details, uploaded verification documents, branch details, addresses, map references, and campaign approval history.
- Campaign activity, including claimed seats, check-ins, survey answers, photo references or upload IDs provided in surveys, notification events, admin actions, and audit records.
- Invitation information, including the intended recipient mobile number. We use it for invitation delivery and retain protected lookup hashes to prevent duplicate or abusive invitations.
- Technical information needed to operate the service, including session tokens, push notification token and device identifier, device or browser metadata, server logs, API request data, and security events.
How we use information
- To create and verify accounts, send OTP codes, keep users signed in, and prevent unauthorized access.
- To operate tester campaigns, confirm attendance, collect required feedback, maintain campaign quality, and show businesses aggregated or campaign-specific results.
- To review and approve business profiles, manage branches and campaigns, support billing and promotions, and resolve operational issues.
- To send service notifications, invite messages, campaign updates, support responses, and administrative notices.
- To protect Murrna, testers, businesses, and the public from fraud, abuse, no-shows, duplicate accounts, security incidents, and policy violations.
Sharing and service providers
- We share information with service providers that help us run Murrna, such as OTP delivery, hosting, database, maps, payments, notifications, translation, and operational support providers.
- The relevant business receives pseudonymous attendance status and survey answers only after Murrna moderation. Business result views do not expose the tester's direct name or mobile number.
- We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or during a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale.
- We do not sell personal information and do not use third-party advertising SDKs or cross-app tracking in the Murrna app.
Retention and deletion
- We keep account, campaign, audit, billing, and verification records for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain accurate business records.
- Users may request access, correction, a copy, restriction, objection where applicable, or deletion through Support. We may retain limited pseudonymous records when required for security, fraud prevention, accounting, legal compliance, campaign integrity, or dispute handling.
- When information is no longer needed, we delete it, anonymize it, or restrict access according to operational and legal requirements.
Permissions and device features
- The mobile app uses network access to communicate with Murrna services and may open an external maps app or website when a user chooses to view a campaign location.
- The current app does not use third-party advertising tracking and does not collect precise device location in the background.
- After verification, the mobile app asks for notification permission so it can deliver campaign and account alerts. A push token is registered only when the user grants permission, and the setting can be disabled in Murrna or the device settings.
- The current release does not request precise device location, background location, photo-library, or storage permission. Survey photo questions are not offered in the mobile release.
Eligibility and children
- Murrna tester participation is intended for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly offer tester accounts to children. If we learn that a child provided personal information, we will take reasonable steps to restrict the account and delete information that we are not legally required to retain.
International processing and changes
- Information may be processed in Saudi Arabia and other countries where Murrna or its service providers operate. Privacy and data protection laws may differ from those in the user's location.
- We may update this policy as the product, legal requirements, or service providers change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
