Information we collect
- Account and contact information, including mobile number, email address when used for business or admin access, display name, role, and OTP verification status.
- Tester profile information, including profile basics, invite source, participation status, campaign reliability signals, and saved app display settings.
- Business verification information, including legal name, display name, commercial registration or unified national number, representative details, uploaded verification documents, branch details, addresses, map references, and campaign approval history.
- Campaign activity, including claimed seats, check-ins, survey answers, photo references or upload IDs provided in surveys, notification events, admin actions, and audit records.
- Technical information needed to operate the service, including session tokens, device or browser metadata, server logs, API request data, and security events.
How we use information
- To create and verify accounts, send OTP codes, keep users signed in, and prevent unauthorized access.
- To operate tester campaigns, confirm attendance, collect required feedback, maintain campaign quality, and show businesses aggregated or campaign-specific results.
- To review and approve business profiles, manage branches and campaigns, support billing and promotions, and resolve operational issues.
- To send service notifications, invite messages, campaign updates, support responses, and administrative notices.
- To protect Murrna, testers, businesses, and the public from fraud, abuse, no-shows, duplicate accounts, security incidents, and policy violations.
Sharing and service providers
- We share information with service providers that help us run Murrna, such as OTP delivery, hosting, database, maps, payments, notifications, translation, and operational support providers.
- Businesses receive the campaign information needed to understand attendance and feedback. We avoid exposing unnecessary tester personal data in business result views.
- We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or during a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale.
- We do not sell personal information and do not use third-party advertising SDKs or cross-app tracking in the Murrna app.
Retention and deletion
- We keep account, campaign, audit, billing, and verification records for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain accurate business records.
- Users may request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us. We may retain limited records when required for security, fraud prevention, accounting, legal compliance, or dispute handling.
- When information is no longer needed, we delete it, anonymize it, or restrict access according to operational and legal requirements.
Permissions and device features
- The mobile app uses network access to communicate with Murrna services and may open an external maps app or website when a user chooses to view a campaign location.
- The current app does not use third-party advertising tracking and does not collect precise device location in the background.
- If a future version requests photos, location, notifications, or another device permission, the app will explain the purpose before or when the permission is requested.
Children
- Murrna is not intended for children under 13. Campaign participation is intended for users who can responsibly attend visits and provide feedback. If we learn that a child provided personal information without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
International processing and changes
- Information may be processed in Saudi Arabia and other countries where Murrna or its service providers operate. Privacy and data protection laws may differ from those in the user's location.
- We may update this policy as the product, legal requirements, or service providers change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
